Y4 Music Enrichment Trip

On Monday 11th March,  Mrs Mason, Mrs Buttle and Mrs Kaminski took a group of Year 4 pupils to West Road Concert Hall for a concert performed by CUWO (Cambridge University Wind Orchestra). It was a fantastic opportunity to hear some talented young musicians in an inspirational venue. We heard music from films, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, to name a few alongside more traditional repertoire like Prokofiev’s ‘Peter and the Wolf’. Everyone in school can now look forward to an opportunity to be inspired by more live music, as we will be welcoming musicians from the professional ensemble ‘Prime Brass’ into school on 27th March, for a whole school interactive performance workshop.
