Year 4 Trip to Saffron Walden

On Wednesday,
Year 4 went to the
Saffron Walden
Museum. We split
into 3 groups to do
different activities.
One activity was
making a woolly
mammoth out of
sticky tape,
newspaper, wool
and straws – it was
exciting! Another
activity was doing
a trail whilst
looking around the
museum trying to
find certain objects
and ticking them
off of our sheet. There were a lot of questions on our
sheets to fill in. The final activity was listening to facts
about the Ice Age to Neolithic times. We got to hold
some real Stone Age artefacts and some replicas of
them. It was a fun day out!
