Music and Maths at Saffron Hall

On Thursday afternoon, Mrs Webb and Mrs Mason took 12 pupils to an inspiring concert in Saffron Hall, Saffron Walden. The trip was an opportunity for our students to explore connections between the two subjects and to hear spectacular live music performed by world famous pianist Alexandra Dariescu. But most importantly it was also a chance to hear two affirming messages: consistent practise, of anything, always helps you achieve more and you don’t have to be ‘brilliant’ at maths to enjoy it and do well!
