Maths Day: Careers and Money
On Monday, children came dressed up as what they want to be when they grow up. It was amazing to see such a range of ideas and ambitions. Children thought a lot about how they might use maths as part of their job and we couldn’t think of any jobs that didn’t involve maths in some way! During the day, Year 5 also took part in a fraud crime scene investigation provided by NatWest, which also taught them how to keep their money safe. Year 6 welcomed Tracey Proctor, Money Mentor, from Reach Community Projects, who delivered budgeting workshops for both classes. Mrs Webb
