Christmas Church Services

On Monday and Tuesday, we held Church Services for Chilford/Simmons and Granta/Rivey house groups at St Mary’s Church, Linton. For a change this year, we moved our services to the daytime to include all our pupils, and it was great to see the church so full on both days. Year 6 took a leading role in retelling the enchanting Charlie Mackesy story ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse’ with song performances from Years 3-5.

We very much enjoyed the opportunity both days provided to quietly reflect on the story of the Nativity and the themes of fear, friendship, love and kindness. Thank you to Reverend Paul, Nanette and all of St Mary’s for the warm welcome
