Gardening Club

It’s been a busy half term at gardening club! Finally, the end of the frosts has meant we could get busy planting in the raised beds. We have strawberries, potatoes and peas growing and the biggest challenge has been keeping everything watered!

We have added some containers with flowers around the school and hope to change up the displays as our geraniums, lobelias and petunias get ready in the green house.

We have launched our potato growing competition, with Years 5 & 6 (and their south facing classrooms) being hotly tipped for a weighty crop!
