Mission, Vision and Values
Our Mission, Vision and Values underpin everything we do at Linton Heights.
Our mission is: Together we learn. Together we thrive.
Our vision is that:
- Our children will flourish by becoming resilient, reflective, independent learners in order to achieve their very best academically
- Our staff will be united in providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Our parents will have confidence that their children will receive an education that embraces academic excellence underpinned by our core school values.
At the heart of our school philosophy are our six core values: respect, responsibility, resilience, ambition, honesty and kindness. Children are taught about our values through assemblies, the PSHE curriculum and adult role modelling. They are regularly rewarded for displaying them through our behaviour systems such as house points, praises during Ceilidh (celebration assembly) and the Values Cup which is awarded each week to a different pupil.
When working together our pupils show respect and kindness to others. In their endeavours, our children are ambitious but also taught to show resilience in overcoming challenge. They take responsibility for contributing to a team effort and strive to be open and honest with each other and adults.
Pupils are expected to show our values through their actions and words.
More information about our curriculum vision can be found on the Our Curriculum page.
